Dispensary Coordinator:

Full Time and Part Time Positions Available

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Dispensary Coordinator to join our team in a full-time capacity.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong dispensary experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced pharmacy environment and takes pride in delivering safe, accurate and efficient service to both customers and the wider healthcare team.

About the role

As our Dispensary Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, working closely with Pharmacists and the Pharmacy Manager to ensure prescriptions and medication packing services are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with professional standards.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of:

·       dispensary workflow support

·       medication packing / Webster (DAA) coordination

·       stock management

·       customer and provider communication

·       maintaining high standards of compliance and accuracy

 Key responsibilities:

·       Support the safe and accurate dispensing of prescriptions under the supervision of Pharmacists

·       Assist with day-to-day dispensary workflow to ensure efficient and compliant operations

·       Maintain accurate patient records and support dispensing documentation requirements

·       Manage dispensary stock control, including ordering, expiry checks and storage compliance

·       Process and coordinate daily medication orders and special orders

·       Accurately prepare and pack Webster (DAA) medication packs in line with patient profiles, pharmacy procedures and quality standards

·       Liaise with pharmacy staff, patients, aged care providers and other healthcare professionals to support safe and timely medication supply

·       Deliver professional, friendly and efficient customer service

·       Work collaboratively with the wider pharmacy team to support strong operational outcomes

·       Ensure compliance with UFS policies, pharmacy procedures and QCPP standards

About you

To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, detail-oriented and passionate about supporting safe medication management in a community pharmacy setting.

You will be someone who thrives in a team environment, communicates well with others, and takes pride in delivering accurate work and excellent service.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

·       Previous experience in a community pharmacy dispensary

·       Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or equivalent dispensary training

·       Strong knowledge of pharmacy products, medications and dispensary processes

·       Experience with Webster / DAA packing (highly regarded)

·       Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to patient safety

·       Strong organisational and time management skills

·       The ability to work both independently and collaboratively

·       A professional, reliable and customer-focused approach

·       A genuine interest in contributing to a community-focused healthcare organisation
